Over the weekend many individuals from the Pennsylvania to New York saw a green fire in the sky. This my good friends was not a precursor to the end of the world but just a meteor breaking apart through the Earth’s atmosphere. It is said that the meteor was no bigger than a yard and if the meteor did make it through the atmosphere it would have broken apart harmlessly into the Atlantic Ocean.
So no need to worry the little green men are not invading or world…not just yet. There is not an Armageddon upon us, just relax and enjoy the wonderful feats that nature provides us through life on this wonderful planet of ours.
I was scrolling through an app called “Fotoroom” which is for the windows phone. It is a collection of random pictures that are snapped around the world. I saw this picture and thought, if I was a cat, I would want to be this guy haha. I hope you all have a good laugh from the picture, happy blogging!
What the Frack?? Is that your question? Well it is mine, I have been hearing so much about this whole fracking extravaganza and I have just been confused about what exactly it is. From a little bit of research that I obtained from both democratic and republican websites I’ve figured it out! Fracking is another way that our government can make money! AH HA! Some say fracking is good for the environment because it taps into the natural resources within the earth.
The actual process of fracking: short for hydraulic fracturing) is a drilling technique which involves injecting toxic chemicals, sand, and millions of gallons of water under high pressure directly into the ground to release natural gas in shale deposits. This mixture of toxins and sediment, along with any natural gas released, can leak to the surface and enter rivers and groundwater in the process.
Hmm, interesting so…
